My overall goal is to have an impact on the improvement of human health as it relates to disease. Not only do I want to accomplish this through research, but also through the mentoring and teaching of students and postdocs. The development of young scientists brings new ideas and talent to the fight against disease. Also, I am a die-hard Yankees fan.
